The 13 Going On 30 star, Jennifer Garner will join Lancaster Mayor Danene Sorace and other leaders to campaign for Vice President Harris and others on the democratic ticket.
Garner will highlight Vice President Harris’ "New Way Forward". This plan is to "lower costs and strengthen Pennsylvanians’ freedoms," the campaign says.
"The Harris-Walz campaign and Pennsylvania Democrats are committed to cutting into Trump’s margins in rural, red counties — including counties like Lancaster."
Lancaster County Commissioner Alice Yoder and State Representative Izzy Smith-Wade-El are additional planned guest speakers for the New Way Forward Press Conference.
The event will be held at the Lancaster County Democratic Party Headquarters at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024.
According to the staff, The Harris-Walz campaign is only the second Democratic presidential campaign in recent history to open an office in Lancaster County, and it is the earliest to do so.
